रसनात् सर्वधातूनां रस इत्यभिधीयते । जरारुङ्मृत्युनाशाय रस्यते वा रसो मतः । its judicious therapeutic use slows down the aging process (jara), heals many diseases (ruja) and delays death (mrityu) it is called as ' RASA '. रसनात् सर्वधातूनां रस इत्यभिधीयते । रसति भक्षयति सर्वान् लोहान् इति रसः I which can digest all the other metals and minerals in it, is called as rasa. Parada was used for lohavada (a process of converting lower metals into higher ones). Eliminate all diseases, simultaneously strengthen and stabilize the body and mind of people. Parada - रोगपङ्कान्धिमग्नानां पारदानाच्च पारदः । Since it saves humankind from the swamp of diseases, it is called'PARADA'
